Party food tips for your 'baby binks' party!

Just remember your guests will be at the party for the demonstration not for the food, so there is no need to go over board with the food unless you are blessed with the time and cooking skills to cook up a feast.  If you are blessed with the time and skill we do recommend to try and keep it simple so your guests have time to shop and you have time to sit and enjoy the party.

It is best to try and have all the food on the table before the guests arrive and if possible in the same room as the demonstration,  that way when the demonstration is finished they can have a little bite to eat while deciding what they would like to purchase and still be a part of the party.

Some food suggestions are as follows:-

  • Chocolate Biscuits (Everybody loves a Tim Tam!)
  • Muffins
  • Cookies
  • Slice
  • Lollies
  • Sandwiches
  • Platter with dip, celery, carrot, cheese and crackers. (A cheap alternative is Pita bread broken up and baked in the oven for 5 minutes to crisp up).
  • Chips or savoury crackers
  • Fruit Platter

For 0-5 guests we suggest having 3-4 of the above options.

For 5-10 guests we suggest having 4-6 of the above options.

For 10-15 guests we suggest having 6-7 of the above options.

For 15-20 guests we suggest having 7-9 of the above options.

Most of the above can either be baked at home or purchased from the super market the choice is yours.

Just remember some napkins are always handy.

Drink options can be tea, coffee, water or soft drink.

We hope these tips have been handy for you and we look forward to seeing you at your 'baby binks' party!
